DADDY'S GIRL

I made a skirt out of my Dads old paint shirt! It sounds weird but it turned out cute.

I just cut the shirt off right under the sleeves and put an elastic band for the waist. I had to unpick the pocket and sew it back on lower.

GOT IT FROM MOM

I LOVE bows. So I sewed one for my hair.

I just bought a ribbon, folded it and sewed it down the middle so it would stay smaller towards the middle. Then I wrapped a smaller ribbon around the middle and sewed it down on the back. I just stick a bobby pin through the back of the smaller ribbon and pin it in my hair.

My Mom used to wear bows in high school and people called her Kristin bow... I take after the best :)

PURPLE NEEDLE EATER

I started sewing in a high school sewing class my senior year. The first project was a skirt and I chose to make a purple maxi skirt.

It was so easy, I basically just got one huge piece of fabric, sewed two ends together and put in an elastic band around the waist. 

I still wear this skirt all the time!
